A Honduran resident arrested in Pennsylvania pled guilty in federal court to illegally reentering the United States for the fourth time.
Acting US Attorney Troy Rivetti said that Julian Alberto Rios-Andasol, 31, was sentenced to approximately 31 days in jail and deported from the United States.
According to Rivetti, the court was informed that Rios-Andasol had been arrested in Moon Township for driving an unregistered car without a license, to which he pled guilty. Following the arrest, immigration officials found that Rios-Andasol was in the United States unlawfully, and he was arrested on March 29.
Rios-Andasol was previously removed from the United States three times between 2013 and 2019 and did not have the necessary license to be there, according to the facts supplied.
